Tintswalo lodges are a group of family owned and managed boutique lodges in South Africa run by a dynamic mother and daughter team, Lisa Goosen and her mother Gaye Corbett, the co-founder of Tintswalo. Lisa and I share many common ideas and beliefs about the travel business. It was most interesting to hear first-hand from Lisa Goosen how the family business began and has grown throughout the years. We have shared many ideas about local community enhancement projects and measures taken to protect endangered wildlife.

It was a sensational experience for me to hear the crashing waves upon the rocks below while dining on the terrace right on the Atlantic Ocean and spend the night in a suite superbly decorated in honour of a famous explorer.
